Kristi Newhouse is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. She brings 21+ years of experience to the field of social work, specializing in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with emotional and behavioral problems, and providing support, education, and guidance. Kristi holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of South Florida.
Kristi began her career as an in-home therapist providing therapy for children and their families. Realizing that her passion extended to a macro level, she became a Program Coordinator for a large agency, and eventually Director of Programs.

Adult Therapy
Individual therapy-also known as psychotherapy, talk therapy, or counseling is a collaborative process between therapist and client that aims to facilitate change and improve quality of life.
Child Therapy
Therapy can help people confront barriers that interfere with emotional and mental well-being, and it can also increase positive feelings such as compassion, self-esteem, love, courage, and peace.
Couples Therapy
Couples or marriage counseling is offered to support people in relationships who may be considering separation, or seeking improved intimacy and understanding. Contact me for to schedule a session.
Student Supervision
Students who are not yet licensed require supervision in order to work in the mental health field. If you are seeking licensure in the field of social work or mental health, I am available for supervision.

When I began coming to Kristi over one year ago for couples therapy with my husband, I was reluctant to really commit.
